this article was, again, found on the New York Times website. the article that i read was based on evolution and how a particular frog species regained its 'evolutionarily lost teeth,' this discovery happened when "Dr. Wiens analyzed DNA samples of 170 modern and fossilized frogs to approximate the dates of loss and re-evolution of the teeth." there is a theory, "Dollo’s Law" which is "a theory proposed by the scientist Louis Dollo in the 1800s, states that when a particular trait is lost in a species, it never comes back." does this sound familiar? perhaps Jurassic Park familiar? exactly! Jurassic Park scientists used a specific DNA sequence from a specific specie of frog to create DINOSAURS!!!!!!!! this discovery may impose a new foundation for future scientific experiments... I know that, currently, there are genetic studies on poultry where gene sequences are inhibited so that the chicken retain their teeth once they reach hatching state... now ask yourself, wouldn't you like to have a pet dinosaur? I would...
