Innocence Animals are Victims

When looking for articles to write about, I came across this one about animals that are abandoned and left behind and their owners leaving them. In ABC News a recent report that was made in 2008 said that 800,000 homes went into foreclosure. Now, if you think about it, many of those home owners owned a pet so probably about 400,000 pets became homeless as they could not take them to their next location. So the question is, what happens to these poor animals? It is shown that nearly 70 percent of the animals in shelters are from the current economy. Thousands of animals every day are being left to die because of no food or water. Could you imagine being left with no food or water and having to die from that? The AVMA said that before leaving a pet you should always ask a friend, a neighbor, family, coworker because nothing deserves to be in a place where they are going to die. Just because they are animals doesn’t mean anything because it’s not right and makes our community and our world look curial.

When I read this article is actually made me pretty upset that people actually do that to their companions. It makes me realize we have a pretty messed up world when it comes to this. Do you think that this is going to increase over the years and get even worse than it already is?
